I'd really like to know what that show was and maybe even see the segment again. The only thing that I'm certain about is that it was July-early November of 1995, though I think it was likely in October. I would have bet that this was Road Rules Season 1 but I have been unable to find anything like the scene I remember. There might have been bungee jumping involved, since I have a memory of someone taking a jump as "La La La La La" started playing. The song played as people were driving around on a freeway throwing cups of coffee or soup at passing cars just for the hell of it. I distinctly remember seeing a reality type of tv show (on MTV I think) in the Fall of 1995 that featured Self Esteem as the soundtrack for one of its segments.
